George borrow, the man and his books

This book contain the biography and critical study of George Borrow and his life's works written by Edward Thomas. It was originally published in 1912 and is here being republished with a new introductory biography on the author. Edward Thomas was an accomplished writer and his work included essays, travelogues, topographical descriptions, reviews, critical studies and biographies. He earned himself a reputation as a respected critic and was widely quoted in newspapers and journals of the time. He was killed in action in the First World War in 1917.
