U.S. Marshal Arthur McMillian is given the task of finding and capturing Samuel Clark, one of the three escaped lunatics from Arkham Asylum. The other two escapees are Aaron Fulton and Pigeon from stories 1 & 2. This is the 3rd in a continuation of stories involving the Cult of the Lidless Eye, a branch cult of the Cult of Cthulhu. Arthur McMillian?s investigation leads him to meet Sheriff Harold Dunlap, Dr. Allen Pensk, and Dr. Sa?Resh Al-Helzra and exposes the sinister experimentations being conducted at Arkham Asylum?s Ward I.
