Marriage counseling by the book

Ive been to many weddings, but never heard vows saying I want to make your life as miserable as possible, but thats what happens in far too many marriages.A marriage is a relationship between a couple with common goals. If we think of a relationship to be like that of a balloon, it goes without saying that as long as the couple are both blowing air into the balloon it grows, but when one person starts to take air out of the balloon it stops growing and will deflate as the other person reduces their efforts as a lost cause.When Jesus washed the feet of His disciples he taught us how to lead. If we lead like Jesus we lead with a servants attitude. Couples that serve one another treat each other like Kings and Queens. How can you be a servant when treated like a King or Queen?Consider a man who is treated like a King by his wife has no reason to look elsewhere. A woman treated like a Queen will not stray either. They already have the best spouse they could hope for. How can either of them fight about anything? Each spouse is determined to make the other happy.That among other things is what this book teaches.
